What to Expect from Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Samsung Galaxy Note 9Are you excited about the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9? The release of the Note 9 will set the record for the biggest smartphone to date in the company’s history. The Note 9, bigger than the Galaxy Note 8 and slightly bigger than the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, will hit the market this September.

Right now, speculations about what to expect from the Note 9 are still making the rounds. Fans of their Note series are buzzing about what to expect from their latest smartphone, but the company has kept everything under wraps, but that hasn’t stopped people from speculating about it.

If you are an excited Samsung Galaxy Note 9 fan, keep your expectations high because it looks like this smartphone is going to meet them…or perhaps…exceed them!

When Can You Get Your Hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9?

So far, all we know is that the company plans to make the big reveal at the end of summer in September of this year. Since the company has not announced a specific launch date, you need to keep your eyes and ears open.

Sneak Peak:  Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s Design

If you are a proud owner of the Note 8, think of the Note 9 as the upgraded version of it. The Note 8 features a glass and metal construction with a dual-edge design. It also features two of the most popular features — a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a dual-rear camera.

The Note 9 will mirror the design of the S8, S9, S8 Plus, and S9 Plus with one major difference, it will have a wider build. Like all the phones in the Note series, the Note 9 will come with a built-in S Pen, again with one major difference, increased sensitivity.

Adorning the sophisticated smartphone will be slim bezels situated at the top and bottom of the display screen. Of course, its premium quality construction will be a talking point among users when it launches. Even though we are not sure how much truth is in the rumor of the Note 9 having a fingerprint sensor fitted within its display screen, we are going to cross our fingers, hoping for it to be true!

What you can expect to be true for the Note 9 is that it will be dust and IP68 water resistant.

Sneak Peak:  Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s Display

There is a strong likelihood of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 featuring a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display screen, 18:5:9 aspect ratio, and higher resolution. Back in the day, the Note series flaunted a 5.7-inch display screen, but times have changed! Now, bigger is better!

A slightly bigger screen size indicates that the Note 9 will have even slimmer bezels.. Only time will tell! Other features of the Note 9 include Mobile HDR and Super AMOLED display screen for rich and vivid colors. The resolution will also get an upgrade.

According to industry speculations, you might see the Note 9 featuring a 4K resolution or it might be the same as the Note 8. The Note 8’s resolution is 2960 x 1440 pixels with a pixel density of 522 ppi.

Sneak Peak:  Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s Camera

Most of us love taking pictures and when buying a smartphone, we tend to put an emphasis on its ability to take high quality pictures. Following the success of the Note 8’s dual-rear camera, the Note 9 will not part ways with it.

However, rumors suggest that users can see a triple camera on the Note 9, but do not get your hope too high, as it might not be true. If you were happy with its dual camera setup, you have nothing to worry about and if it turns out to be false and it does feature three cameras, it will be a welcoming surprise.

If the Note 9 features a dual camera, you can expect it to have one telephone lens and wide-angle. There is also a strong possibility of the Note 9 featuring a camera similar to the S9’s camera, which has an aperture of f/1.5 t0 f/2.4.

Another feature the Note 9 will not part ways with is the dual optical image stabilization, as the Note 8 was one of the first smartphones to feature this with a dual camera set-up. If you are wondering whether the Note 9 will offer higher resolution for the rear and front-facing camera, we are wondering that too, as nothing has been released or confirmed yet.

However, you can expect to see processing enhancements on the Note 9. The company’s focus is on improving the camera of the Note 9, as that is one of the main reasons why users opt for the Note series.

Sneak Peak:  Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s Hardware and Software

The hardware of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will not disappoint you. The Note 9 may feature either the latest Exynos chip or Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, and premium quality audio.

In the Note 9, the company will decide to add either the latest Exynos chip or Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 based on the region. No one ever said that more storage is bad, but everyone said less storage is bad. The Note 9 may either offer 64GB or 128GB of storage depending on how generous they are feeling.

Like with all Samsung devices, you can increase its storage capacity by adding a microSD. The Note 9 will be operating on a 6GB of RAM. As for the battery, it will receive either a 3,850 mAh cell or 4,000 mAh battery cell. The Note 9 may have both quick charging and wireless charging using USB type C to charge it.

If you love listening to music, you will love its Dolby Atmos, which enhances sound. Lastly, the Note 9 will come with an Android Oreo and TouchWiz software. Bixby, Samsung’s own voice-assistant, will aid you in your queries.

For now, all you can do is wait and cross your fingers for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to blow your mind!
